brand story: chalk & thimble was founded in london, some time ago. it began as a private social club, the members of which shared a refined sense of style inspired by the tailors of nearby savile row. they recognized their own by an enigmatic mark of sartorial skill – a classic variation of the herringbone stitch. though the founders are long forgotten, their name & symbol survives. each garment that bears their mark also represents their code: clothes truly are the measure of a man.
